Our social worker is there to assist with emotional, legal and financial needs. Preparing for the end of life is a taxing experience that takes a toll on everyone. But there are also issues that if not resolved can hang on for years to come. Let Nurses & Company help you through the process and alleviate these stressors so you can focus on your loved one.
Chaplain Services
A chaplain is available to provide spiritual counseling or as a friendly face to guide you through the process. Our chaplain follows families for a minimum of 13 months following the death of a loved one to aid in the bereavement process.
Volunteer Services
To assist caregivers we work with volunteers that can help provide a short respite from daily care. Volunteers are able to provide companionship for the patients, emotional support for patients or caregivers and assist with daily activities during their visits.
Bereavement Services
Our staff is there for the family throughout the bereavement process. Both our Social Worker and Chaplain continue to follow the caregiver and key family members for a minimum of 13 months after the passing of a patient. They are available by phone when ever the need occurs.
